HOW IT CAN HELP

This program provides students with a basic understanding of quality principles through five upper-division courses. Students will learn content dealing with the basics of quality management, principles of lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and statistical process control in a web broadcast format.


DETAILED DESCRIPTION

There are two paths to entry into this program. 1) be a degree-seeking student through the Technology Systems bachelor's degree program and declare Quality and Reliability as their desired emphasis area. Or 2) apply for Utah State University as a non-degree-seeking student and sign up for the classes for continuing education credit (CEU).

 

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Estimated Continuing Education unit cost for one course = $800

Estimated Continuing Education unit if you take two courses = $1,600

 

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

Students can expect first-hand experience shared by faculty who have decades of experience in quality and reliability. These classes are designed to serve as the foundation of knowledge for someone who wants to learn more about quality and reliability.
